ECCO main&rsquo;s aim is &ldquo;to strive for an optimization of care for patients with IBD in all aspects&rdquo;. In the scientific session &ldquo;Daily changes in IBD&rdquo;, Isabelle Cleynen from Leuven University will present a poster entitled &ldquo;Role of the CYLD protease gene in Crohn&rsquo;s disease, independent from its neighbouring gene CARD15&rdquo;. UEGW is now among the top medical meetings in Europe and is recognized as a top class gastroenterology meeting also outside of Europe. <br /></span><span style="color:#000000;">In the poster session dedicated to the Inflammatory Bowel Disease &ldquo;Inflammatory Bowel Disease (III)&rdquo;, Emilie Vazeille (Universit&eacute; d&rsquo;Auvergne, Clermont Ferrand) presented a poster entitled &ldquo;Role of meprins to protect the gut mucosa from colonization by adherent-invasive Escherichia Coli&rdquo;.
